082 – Why Your Church Needs a First Impressions Team and How to Establish One

Podcast logo 1400x1400

Is your church a friendly church?

Most churches would say that they are, but do your first-time guests walk away with the same impression?

What is your strategy for welcoming people into your worship services on a weekly basis?

In this podcast episode I unpack WHY it’s so important to establish a dynamic first impressions strategy in your church, WHAT it should look like, and HOW to establish it.

I would love to hear how you’re doing this in your church and learn from you as well!

Thanks, Jon. Good stuff. This is definitely on the to do list! Appreciate your input. One thing we do with our guest around the connection cards, is we announce and treat those cards as prayer request. We have cards that ask for a small amount of info and inform them that we want to pray for God’s direction in their life. They are there for a reason and we want to pray for clarity in their seeking a Body, following Christ, etc. We do offer a place to check some boxes for more info, a phone call, or a visit. But first, it’s a prayer request. Some simply put a name. However, most do ask for more info or a call.
